On Premises Exchange Servers hacked by Chinese Group named Hafnium

Hi folks,

Hope you all had a good long weekend.

This week's news is about another recent hack that is a little closer to home.

A malicious Chinese hacking group by the name of Hafnium was able to exploit over 30,000 Microsoft Exchange Servers over a course of approximately two months.

Microsoft and the US government have of course been working hard to secure the huge amount of exchange servers running the operating system "Exchange Server 2013, 2016, and 2019."

Thankfully, Office 365 users were not affected.

Other hacking groups have been taking advantage of the system exposure, we'll keep you posted on developments.
